I wouldn’t recommend this product to a friend unless they loved the taste of sweetener. Some of the Magic Spoon flavours are hit and miss, but I would rather eat my least favourite Magic Spoon flavour than this. It doesn’t matter that Catalina Crunch is cheaper than Magic Spoon because it doesn’t taste as good. When I tried these with almond milk I couldn’t taste any of the honey or maple, just the almond milk and the sweetener. Strangely, when in milk the flavour disappears completely. After a few crunches between your teeth these start to taste like a car battery. But, the taste was overwhelmed by sweetener aftertaste. Both tasted like what they were supposed to. A variety 4 pack is 49 (12.25/bag) A variety 6 pack is 69 (11. Dry I could taste the flavours, which were honey graham and french toast. If you’d like to buy Catalina Crunch you can buy it online. I tasted this cereal dry and in almond milk. I said I didn’t like Magic Spoon’s Maple Waffle flavour because of the strong sweetener taste, but this is much worse. Where it falls apart for me is the taste. It’s not sticky in your teeth like Magic Spoon, either. It has 14 gs total carbs and 9 from fibre, but some of the remaining carbs could be from sugar alcohols as its sweetened with Stevia. I could not calculate the carbs for Catalina Crunch. I don’t know about you but I eat more than a cup of cereal at a time usually. These are all pretty good stats, however it’s important to remember this is for one cup. The cereals typically have from 7-9 gs of fat, 13-14 gs of protein, and 140-170 calories. Magic Spoon, as mentioned, has only 4 gs of net carbs! Some of the flavours, like strawberry, have 5 gs, but most are 4. ![]() As you can see, Catalina Crunch is significantly cheaper than Magic Spoon, but still quite a bit more expensive than regular sugary cereals. ![]() Another Keto cereal is made by C atalina Crunch and that one is $9.99 for 255 gs. Of course Magic Spoon is significantly more expensive than regular cereals. Instead of rewriting all the information I previously shared in my Magic Spoon review I’ll just paste it below for you: For this review I have compared Magic Spoon, Catalina Crunch, and Froot Loops. I usually also compare to the cheap, popular version. If you’re an avid reader you know that my reviews usually focus on a comparison between the product at hand and its largest competitor in my area. I decided to try Catalina Crunch when I was researching for my post on Magic Spoon and saw how much cheaper it was.
